Hello world,

It’s interesting how the simple act of creating a new blog can reignite your will to write.
I guess it really plays a trick on your mind. You suddently feel committed to the task.
To be honest with you, I’ve been feeling the need to write for most of this year.
And yet… I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
Mainly because I wasn’t sure where to do it.
I didn’t feel like writing in a notebook.
But I also didn’t feel comfortable writing on Linkedin (where I have written in the past).
So I just kept to myself except for the regular yapping on Twitter.
Which can be cathartic but not really useful for anyone lol.

So obviously the idea of the blog came back up.
Ever since I’ve been using the internet, I’ve created blogs.
I’m not even joking, I probably created my first one at 11 or 12 years old.
And I must have created >15 blogs, which all ended up dying after some time.
So I can safely say that I like to write, even if I don’t necessarily do it “properly”.
I like the act of writing more than the potential results that can come from it.

This year has been emotionally intense.
I know I said the same thing about the previous years (in my
Thank you, 2021
,
Year in review: 2022
and
Farewell, 2023
posts) but this year has truly been the culmination of all the past ones.
In a way, it all came crumbling down.
In another, not that much has changed.
Except myself, I guess.

I want to emphasise that I am not trying to victimize myself or crying over my situation.
Of course I am aware, more than ever, that not only am I priviliged, everything I’ve felt this year has been felt by millions before me.
By talking about how I feel, however, I hope you too can find some solace in the relatable aspect of the human nature and our common life experiences.

So, here’s an idea: I’ll try my best to write a post a day here for the month of November.
Some might be longer than others.
That’s alright!
We’ll see what this exercise will bring up.

If you’re read this, thank you for your presence and time.
I wish you a wonderful day or night and…see you tomorrow!

With love,
Camille
