Perpetual draft

Grab a drink, it’s a long one!

Goodnight from Portugal. I hope you’ve had a great weekend. Thank you for giving me some of your time. I’ll try to make it worthwhile. Without further ado…

A newsletter, uh?

I know. Everybody got one nowadays. Is it really necessary for me to have one as well? That’s a good question. (we’ll find out together)

Time flies when you're having fun

As I was shopping on Saturday morning, I felt like the week had passed in the blink of an eye.

These past few weeks, I’ve been a busy bee.

A stressed bee as well, due to some family matters.

Thankfully, I’m lucky to have great clients & projects to work on, which helped me focus my energy on things I could actually control/change.

It’s a blessing, however it impacts my perception of time quite a lot.

On the plus side...

Projects are going well. The bond with my clients keeps improving. New opportunities arised this week. Oh, and I (finally) started doing some yoga/stretching again. I’ve been thinking about going back to the gym to lift weight, like I used to a couple of years ago. Ever since I stopped (which, at the time was not my decision) I’ve had a hard time exercising regularly. Having an energetic dog helps, because she requires daily walks & playtime. I’ve always had in the back of my mind the memories of the “glorious days” when I was lifting weights 5 times a week. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to such an intense regimen, but I know for a fact that I can’t afford to not exercise. The effects of age + sedentarism keep showing up uninvited. It’s time to do something.

Camille...where the h*ck are you going with this?

Honestly? Nowhere.

I’m just giving you some update on my life (:

The next issues will be focused on:

I’ll do my best to make them concise and helpful ;)

I wish you all a great week ahead!

See you next week, Camille
